Tamarind Syrup - A healthy drink

Ayurveda science is something that not only emphasizes a specific disease and it's treatment. This science helps us to live our life to the fullest and guides us to stay healthy.
In Ayurveda, it is said that if you are eating healthy food there is no need for medicines but if you are eating unhealthy food, medicines also don't help you in preventing diseases.
Ayurveda Science always concentrates on what you are eating, in which timing you are having your meal as these all have a direct relation with Agni ( digestive fire ), if Agni is balanced then body also remains healthy but if Agni is disturbed there are a list of diseases which can affect the body.

So I am going to share a simple recipe that can make your Agni balanced i.e Tamarind syrup (Chincha panak).
For this all you need -
Tamarind ( Chincha / imili without seed )  - 25gm
Water                                                          - 250ml
Sugar                                                          - 50gm ( double of tamarind )
Black salt or Rock salt                               - as per your taste
Fried cumin ( jeera ) powder                     - 2gm
Black pepper                                              - 1 gm

Procedure -
Firstly Tamarind should be soaked in 250ml of water overnight. In the morning mashed it well and then filter it properly.
Then in filtered part sugar is added and mixed properly. Later on black salt, fried cumin powder, and black pepper should be added and mixed well.
Now your healthy easy Tamarind Syrup is ready to drink.

This healthy drink is beneficial not only in balancing of Agni but also good in treating nausea, excessive thirst, and burning sensation. In summer's it can help treat sunstroke.
