How to Analyze Your Immune System

With ongoing series on Immunity on our blog, here we are with another blog on how to analyze your immune system.



As in the last blog we read about the view of Ayurveda on the immune system but before we advanced knowledge with herbs and tips to boost the immune system it is important to analyze your body that how good and weak is your immune system.

So here are some signs to self-analyze one's immune system. 

Let's first start with signs of a good immune system. 

Signs of a Good Immune System- 

1. You can exercise and maintain a healthy exercise schedule without any problem. 

2. You can tolerate hunger if due to some circumstances you missed one meal, you don't feel uneasy. 

3. When roamed in sunlight or when doesn't get air conditioner then you have no problem, you can do your routine work.

4. You pass stools regularly without any discomfort. 

5. You are the one who has a habit of eating healthy food and doesn't rely much on unhealthy habits. 

6. Doesn't suffer from digestive problems frequently like constipation, gaseous abdomen, hyperacidity, etc. 

7. You have a good body built according to your height nor obese nor underweight. 

8. You are the one who can digest heavy food much easier without any problems.

9. You are the person who in any situation motivates yourself and others, has good willpower, and handle the situations much more calmly irrespective of the situation. 

10. Doesn't feel tired. 

11. Doesn't catch diseases very frequently but if does then the recovery speed is good. 

Immune System 


Signs of Weak Immune System-

As identifying a good and healthy immune system is important it is necessary to pick out the signs of a weak system as well. 

These signs are- 

1. You are Overweight or Obese, i.e you have a BMI (Body mass index) of more than 25. 

2. You are underweight i.e you have a BMI less than 18.5.

3. You felt tired, fatigued irrespective of any disease. 

4. You suffered from frequent infections like Urinary tract infection, Tonsilitis, Gastritis, etc. 

5. Your bowel habit is disturbed, you either suffered from constipation, frequent diarrhea, or discomfort while defecation. 

6. With a change in season you are the first who fall ill. 

7. You suffered from frequent digestive problems either hyperacidity, gaseous abdomen, bloating, indigestion, etc. 

8. You are sensitive to foods but you are more inclined to unhealthy food habits. 

9. You are the one who doesn't exercise and not able to make a healthy routine. 

10. You are not able to handle stress, you overthink a lot and when you go through an emotional breakdown you fall ill very much frequently. 


By the above-mentioned signs, you can identify and analyze the immune system. It works like a report card for the body and to make up the mind that in today's scenario which one of the family members has to be taken care of irrespective of other factors such as age, Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, and other diseases. 

It can make a framework in which who has to take more preventive measures and have to work more on strengthening the immune system.
