Ayurvedic Morning Routine


We all know the scheduled routine is very beneficial for us, a particular routine either in your working style or in your daily routine is very good.
When your working lifestyle is going in a particular scheduled routine you feel sorted, your work seems organized the same happens with our body if we follow a particular regime then our body also remains organized and felt good and If the body feels good everything is good.
As Ayurvedic Practitioner according to me there is nothing better than adapting the Ayurvedic lifestyle routine for the betterment of your health. If you adapt this your body starts feeling healthy and as above I said sorted.

Ayurvedic Morning Routine ( दिनचर्या )

In Ayurvedic Literature It all mentioned what is the time to wake up, what should we do after waking up, what should we do before bathing each and everything, so in this blog, I am going to tell you about this.

Firstly starts waking up in the early morning, I know for us waking up early morning is a big task as we sleep late so there is no chance of waking up early but starts to make this habit slowly. After some time you will notice that your body actually felt light and fresh.

Then after relieved from morning bowel habit and urination,

It is advised to use a particular type of toothbrushes of a particular plant but that is not possible in today's world so used good quality of toothpaste in your daily routine and medicated powder should be used to massage the gums.

After Brushing tongue scrapping is a must as it helps in the reduction of bad breath.
                                                                    ↓
For freshness of mouth, cleanliness of mouth, for the betterment of taste it is mentioned to eat Elaichi
 ( cardamon) .

After this Abhyanga ( अभ्यंग)  massage is indicated for the betterment of health. It is said that a person should do Abhyanga daily as it leads to graceful aging, helps in defeating Vata disorder, make skin soft and smooth, improves vision, and helps in making body strong and firm.

Vyayama ( व्यायाम ) A regular morning exercise is as important as food in our daily life. It helps our body to feel light throughout the day, makes the body energetic to do work the whole day, increases digestive fire, helps in the reduction of unwanted fat, and makes the body strong.                                                                                                                 ↓
It is said that after Vyayam ( exercise ) person should massage his/her body with medicated dry powder known as Udvartana ( उद्वर्तन ). It helps in the reduction of fat, Kapha, and gives strength to the body.

Then Bathing is advised, it always said that face should always wash with cold water and the rest of the body with lukewarm water. It is beneficial as it gives the body a spark of freshness, relieves the body from itching, sweating, burning sensation, and mala ( waste material ). It is also beneficial in the improvement of our digestive fire.

At the last step of the morning routine, It is advised to eat breakfast but only if you are relieved from passing the stool and you feel hungry then You should eat . Breakfast should be full of nutrition but easy to digest.

These are some easy steps you should include in your morning daily routine for the betterment of your health. I hope you all find it useful.
